The Ratti estate, founded in 1965 in La Morra, is inextricably linked to the modern history of Barolo. Renato Ratti, a towering figure in Piedmontese winemaking, created the region's first single-vineyard Barolo with his iconic Marcenasco and mapped the appellation's historic crus. Today, his son Pietro continues this vision of elegance across 50 hectares spread between La Morra, Mango, Costigliole d'Asti and Dogliani, with Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto as flagship varieties. The estate produces refined Barolos — Marcenasco, Rocche dell'Annunziata, Conca and Serradenari — that embody La Morra's most elegant expression.
