Domaine Georges Lignier et Fils is a family estate established in the early 20th century in Morey-Saint-Denis, at the heart of Burgundy. Since 2008, Benoît Stehly, the founder's great-grandson, has led this 16-hectare domaine spread across 50 parcels and 17 appellations, including four prestigious grands crus: Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint-Denis, Bonnes-Mares, and Charmes-Chambertin. The estate is notably the largest proprietor of Clos Saint-Denis grand cru with 1.49 hectares. Crafted from vines averaging over 50 years of age, Georges Lignier wines are distinguished by their elegance, aromatic purity, and remarkable ageing potential.

Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru 2017 from Domaine Georges Lignier et Fils is the expression of a legendary terroir straddling Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny, in Burgundy. From a 0.28-hectare parcel planted in 1930, this Pinot Noir benefits from 18 months' ageing in oak barrels, 40% new, under the stewardship of Benoit Stehly, who has led the estate since 2008.
