Founded in 1999 by Sylvain Pataille, a renowned consulting oenologist, the domaine now spans 15 hectares farmed organically and biodynamically. A champion of the Aligoté grape and passionate advocate for Marsannay terroirs, Sylvain Pataille crafts a range of around twenty cuvées — Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Aligoté Doré — with a minimal-intervention approach and absolute respect for the expression of each lieu-dit.
