Champagne Philipponnat is a historic house established in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ since 1522, renowned for its exceptional vineyard holdings dominated by Pinot Noir. Owner of 20 hectares including the legendary Clos des Goisses, the house has been led since 2000 by Charles Philipponnat, a direct descendant of the founding family. Thierry Garnier, cellar master since 1993, crafts Champagnes of remarkable precision and intensity, characterised by a non-oxidative approach and the use of the solera process under oak.
