Domaine Jules Desjourneys

Founded in 2007 by Fabien Duperray, Beaujolais estate Domaine Jules Desjourneys has established itself as one of the benchmark producers of Beaujolais and Mâconnais. Based in La Chapelle-de-Guinchay, this 17-hectare estate farms certified biodynamic old-vine Gamay on the crus of Fleurie, Moulin-à-Vent and Chénas, and since 2014, exceptional Chardonnays on Pouilly-Fuissé and Saint-Véran in partnership with Christophe Thibert. With extremely low yields and extended élevage, Jules Desjourneys produces wines of extraordinary density, purity and tension, awarded the fifth star by the Bettane & Desseauve guide.
