Maison Laurent Ponsot

Maison Laurent Ponsot is a singular venture founded in 2017 in Gilly-lès-Cîteaux by Laurent Ponsot and his son Clément. Both domaine — with 7 hectares of owned vineyards — and "haute couture" négociant, the house produces over 25 cuvées in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, from regional Bourgogne to legendary Grands Crus such as Chambertin, Griotte-Chambertin, Clos Saint-Denis, Montrachet and Corton-Charlemagne. Embodying a pioneering spirit at the crossroads of Burgundian tradition and technological innovation, Laurent Ponsot continues here four decades of research in the service of terroir and authenticity.

The Cuvée du Cèdre 2020 from Laurent Ponsot is a Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru sourced from seven different grape suppliers across ten parcels within the legendary Clos. Since leaving Domaine Ponsot in 2017, Laurent has worked as a négociant-éleveur alongside his son Clément, upholding his commitment to authenticity and precision. This Pinot Noir from the 2020 vintage, a warm year marked by fine concentration, expresses the diversity of the largest Grand Cru in the Côte de Nuits.
