Domaine Montevetrano
Montevetrano is an iconic winery in Campania, province of Salerno, Southern Italy. Founded in 1983 by renowned photographer Silvia Imparato with oenologist Riccardo Cotarella, the estate spans 26 hectares with 5 hectares of vineyards in San Cipriano Picentino. Its flagship wine, a bold blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Aglianico, was famously dubbed the "Sassicaia of the South" by Robert Parker in 1995. With around 30,000 bottles produced annually, Montevetrano embodies Southern Italian viticultural excellence and remains one of Italy's most sought-after cult wines.
