Domaine Meo-Camuzet

Domaine Méo-Camuzet stands among the most celebrated estates of Vosne-Romanée, in the heart of Burgundy. Directed since 1989 by Jean-Nicolas Méo, mentored by the legendary Henri Jayer, the domaine cultivates 14 hectares including six grands crus (Richebourg, Clos de Vougeot, Échezeaux, three Corton) and ten premiers crus, including the mythical Cros Parantoux. The wines are renowned for their finesse, paradoxical concentration, and exceptional ageing potential, combining structure and elegance in an immediately recognisable style.

The 2019 Échezeaux Grand Cru from Domaine Méo-Camuzet is sourced from the Les Rouges du Bas climat, a high-altitude parcel located at the upper limit of the Échezeaux appellation in Burgundy. This Pinot Noir embodies the finesse characteristic of the grand cru, combining aromatic freshness with structured elegance. Crafted by Jean-Nicolas Méo following principles inherited from Henri Jayer, this 2019 stands out for its velvety character and mid-palate density whilst preserving the refinement proper to this outstanding terroir.
