Maison Verget is a Burgundy négociant house based in Sologny, in the Mâconnais region, founded in 1990 by Jean-Marie Guffens. Specialising in white Burgundy wines crafted from Chardonnay, the house produces an exceptional range of cuvées sourced from meticulously selected parcels across the Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, Mâcon-Villages and Chablis appellations. Julien Desplans, trained at Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, now leads winemaking alongside Jean-Marie Guffens. Named "Trading Business of the Year" in 2020 by La Revue du Vin de France, Verget stands as a global benchmark for Chardonnay.

Mâcon La Roche Vineuse Les Bois Joyaux 2024 is a pure Chardonnay from Verget, the négociant house of Jean-Marie Guffens and Julien Desplans. Produced from old vines planted on limestone soils in La Roche-Vineuse, Mâconnais, this white wine is aged in oak barrels with 25% new wood. A worldwide reference for Chardonnay, Verget presents here a new addition to its range, poised and luminous, reflecting the meticulous expertise of this house founded in 1990.
