Château Giscours

Château Giscours, a Troisième Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 Classification, stands in Labarde at the heart of the Margaux appellation. Owned by the Albada Jelgersma family since 1995, the estate extends over 300 hectares, including 95 hectares of vines planted on three exceptional Garonne gravel mounds. Under the leadership of Alexander van Beek, general manager for nearly thirty years, Giscours crafts concentrated and elegant wines from a blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), complemented by Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Château Giscours 2022 was named Wine of the Year 2025 by Wine Spectator, recognising the precision achieved both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
