Domaine Caprai Arnaldo

Arnaldo Caprai is the iconic estate of Sagrantino di Montefalco, a DOCG appellation located in the heart of Umbria. Founded in 1971 by textile entrepreneur Arnaldo Caprai and led since 1988 by his son Marco, the property now extends over 160 hectares of vineyards spread across Montefalco, Colli Martani and surrounding areas. A pioneer in the revival of Sagrantino — a native grape variety with exceptionally high polyphenol content — the estate produces close to one million bottles annually and has established itself as the international benchmark for this appellation, through tireless agronomic and oenological research conducted in collaboration with the universities of Milan and Perugia.
