Château Mouton Rothschild, elevated to First Growth status in 1973, stands as one of Bordeaux's five legendary estates. Owned by the Rothschild family since 1853, this 90-hectare property in Pauillac crafts exceptional wines dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (81%), renowned for their power, tannic richness and extraordinary ageing potential. Since 1945, each vintage has featured a label designed by a celebrated contemporary artist. Technical director Jean-Emmanuel Danjoy has overseen winemaking since 2020, perpetuating a quest for excellence carried forward by three generations of Rothschilds.
