Château Mancedre

Château Mancèdre is a 12.90-hectare family estate located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation, in the commune of Léognan. Established in 1994 by Jean Trocard on land belonging to his maternal grandparents, the estate produces red and white wines from gravel soils of Pyrenean origin. The red vineyard favours Cabernet Sauvignon at 60% and Merlot at 40%, complemented since 2010 by 1.70 hectares of white varieties. Heir to fifteen generations of winemakers dating back to 1628, Château Mancèdre has established itself as a benchmark among the unclassified estates of the appellation.

Château Mancèdre Pessac-Léognan Blanc 2022 is a dry white Pessac-Léognan crafted from an assemblage of Sauvignon Blanc (60%) and Sémillon (40%), produced in the commune of Léognan by Jean Trocard, the sixteenth generation of winegrowers since 1628. Barrel-aged for 9 to 12 months, this wine combines aromatic freshness with structure, a characteristic expression of the appellation's Pyrenean gravel soils.
