Château Gazin

Château Gazin is one of the largest estates in Pomerol, with 26 hectares in a single block on the appellation's clay plateau. Neighbouring Pétrus, the vineyard sits on blue clay and Günzian gravel, producing wines dominated by Merlot (90%), complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Owned by the de Bailliencourt dit Courcol family since 1918, the estate is now managed by Mickaël Obert as technical director.
