Domaine Artadi

Artadi stands as one of the most iconic names in Spanish winemaking, based in Laguardia at the heart of Rioja Alavesa. Founded in 1985 and taken over in 1992 by Juan Carlos López de Lacalle, the estate cultivates 56 hectares of certified organic vineyards since 2016, focused on the pure expression of Tempranillo. Since 2015, Artadi left the Rioja appellation to dedicate itself exclusively to single-vineyard wines, asserting its vision of terroir. The celebrated Viña El Pisón, planted in 1945, achieved Robert Parker's perfect score of 100 points for the 2004 vintage.
