Château Gruaud Larose

Château Gruaud Larose is a Saint-Julien Second Growth Classified in 1855, owned by the Merlaut family since 1997. The 82-hectare vineyard, planted predominantly with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, rests on deep Garonne gravel. Led by Jean Merlaut and vinified under the technical direction of Virginie Sallette, the estate has been certified organic since 2022 and embodies its historic motto: "The Wine of Kings, the King of Wines".
