Château Léoville Las Cases, Second Growth Classified in 1855, stands as one of the leading estates of the Saint-Julien appellation on the Left Bank of Bordeaux. Owned by the Delon family since the late 19th century, the estate is today managed by Jean-Hubert Delon. With its celebrated Grand Clos of 55 hectares bordering Château Latour, planted primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, Léoville Las Cases produces wines of exceptional finesse, depth and ageing potential, often described as the "First of the Second Growths".
