Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey, Premier Grand Cru Classé de Sauternes in 1855, is an iconic 18.5-hectare estate located on the heights of Bommes. Owned by Silvio Denz since 2014, who also owns the Lalique crystal house, the château produces exceptional Sauternes predominantly from Sémillon, combining aromatic richness, finesse and vibrant freshness. Neighbouring Château d'Yquem, the vineyard lies on Sauternes' high gravel terrace, an exceptional terroir that endows the wines with their characteristic complexity and elegance.
