Château Doisy Daëne, a Second Classified Growth in 1855, stands as one of the most refined signatures of the Barsac appellation in Sauternes. Owned by the Dubourdieu family since 1924, this 18-hectare estate rests on the renowned clay-limestone plateau of Haut-Barsac, planted with Sémillon (86%) and Sauvignon Blanc (14%). Under the stewardship of Jean-Jacques and Fabrice Dubourdieu, the château perpetuates an instantly recognisable style: wines of crystalline finesse, driven by the brilliance of fruit concentrated by noble rot and a characteristic mineral vivacity.
