Château Monbousquet

Château Monbousquet is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé located in the commune of Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens, on the Right Bank of Bordeaux. The 32-hectare estate in a single block lies on terroir of warm gravel and sandy-clay soils, planted to 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Acquired in 1993 by Gérard Perse, the château underwent a radical transformation that led to its elevation to Grand Cru Classé status in 2006. Michel Rolland has provided oenological consultancy since the Perse family's arrival.
