Champagne Gonet Medeville

Champagne Gonet-Médeville is a grower-producer estate founded in 2000 in Bisseuil by Xavier Gonet and his wife Julie Médeville. The domaine encompasses 12 hectares across eight villages in Champagne, including three Grands Crus (Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Ambonnay) and five Premiers Crus. The Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier vines are organically farmed. The winemaking approach prioritises terroir expression: no chaptalization, no malolactic fermentation, minimal dosage and extended ageing.

The Champagne Gonet-Médeville La Louvière Blanc de Blancs 2007 is a Grand Cru single-vineyard bottling from the Louvière lieu-dit in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, crafted entirely from Chardonnay. This extra-brut vintage champagne rested 11 years on lees before disgorgement in 2019, delivering a crystalline, focused expression of this renowned terroir, marked by chiselled minerality and vibrant acidity.
