Domaine Bergere Andre

Champagne A. Bergère is a family-owned house established in Fèrebrianges, in the heart of Champagne, where the family has tended vines since 1848. Founded in 1949 by Albert Bergère, the estate now farms 45 hectares across the Vallée du Petit Morin, Côte des Blancs and Sézannais, planted predominantly to Chardonnay (70%), with Pinot Noir (20%) and Meunier (10%). Since 2014, oenologist Adrien Bergère has led a rigorous parcel-based vinification approach, incorporating barrel and foudre ageing, with progressive conversion to organic viticulture.

Champagne André Bergère Les Peignottes 2017 is a single-parcel Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru crafted from Chardonnay grown on the Oger terroir, at the heart of the Côte des Blancs. This cuvée, limited to just 3,376 bottles, expresses the chalky minerality and freshness characteristic of old Champagne vines, with an Extra Brut dosage (4 g/L) that showcases the purity of the terroir.
