Domaine Levet

Vignobles Levet embodies traditional, characterful Côte-Rôtie in Ampuis, passed down through four generations since 1929. Agnès Levet manages 4.5 hectares of old-vine Syrah petite serine planted on the steep slopes of the Northern Rhône Valley. The estate produces three Côte-Rôtie cuvées — Améthyste, Maestria and La Péroline — and a Condrieu, all raised traditionally with two years in barrel.

The Domaine Levet Améthyste 2019 is a Côte-Rôtie made from Syrah — petite serine — blending fruit from all nine lieux-dits of the estate in Ampuis. A family domain handed down over four generations since 1929, Vignobles Levet cultivates 4.5 hectares of vines aged 30 to 70 years on the schist slopes of the northern Rhône Valley. Aged two years in demi-muids, this traditionally crafted wine for cellaring combines syrah fruit, spicy notes and the minerality of its terroir.
