Maison Stephan

Maison Stéphan, established in Tupin-et-Semons in the Côte-Rôtie appellation, is one of the pioneering natural wine estates in the Northern Rhône Valley. Founded in 1991 by Jean-Michel Stéphan, it now covers 10 hectares of vineyards spread between the Côte-Rôtie appellation (5 hectares) and parcels classified as Vin de France. The estate's emblematic grape varieties — Serine, Syrah, and Viognier — yield wines of exceptional purity and freshness, crafted without any additives since 1997. Jean-Michel Stéphan, joined by his son Romain in 2017 and Dorian in 2023, perpetuates a radical and exacting vision of the Rhône terroir, establishing the estate as a reference within its appellation.
