Founded in 2009 by Pierre-Jean Villa in Chavanay, Domaine Pierre-Jean Villa has established itself as one of the leading estates in the northern Rhône Valley. Across 20 hectares now certified organic, the domaine extends its vineyards over major appellations on both banks of the Rhône: Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage and the historic slopes of Seyssuel. Syrah, Viognier and Roussanne yield terroir-driven wines of exceptional finesse and depth, shaped by meticulous viticulture and minimal intervention winemaking. Now joined by his children Hugo and Pauline, Pierre-Jean Villa embodies a vision of wine founded on respect for the fruit and sincere expression of terroir.

Esprit d'Antan Viognier 2023 from Domaine Pierre-Jean Villa is a white wine crafted from 100% Viognier, grown on the ancient hillsides of Seyssuel, in the heart of the Northern Rhône Valley. A tribute to the Roman heritage of this forgotten vineyard, revived in the 1990s, this IGP Collines Rhodaniennes cuvée expresses the full minerality of Seyssuel's schist soils, facing the celebrated slopes of Côte-Rôtie.
