Domaine Cartaux-Bougaud

The Domaine Cartaux-Bougaud is a 20-hectare family estate located in the heart of the Jura, covering the Côtes du Jura and L'Étoile appellations. Founded in 1973 by Anne-Marie Bougaud and Guy Cartaux, the estate is now run by their son Sébastien Cartaux and his partner Sandrine, independent winegrowers who achieved organic certification in 2022. The domaine produces primarily white wines from Chardonnay and Savagnin, along with reds from Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir, and the full range of Jura specialities: vin jaune, vin de paille, crémant and macvin.
