Established since 1710, this discreet family cultivates approximately 12 hectares of pinot noir across Gevrey-Chambertin and Marsannay appellations, with one of the highest concentrations of old vines in Burgundy — certain Charmes-Chambertin parcels date back to 1881. Pierre-Jean Roty, representing the eleventh generation, now leads this cult estate renowned for its powerful and elegant age-worthy wines.
