Located at the exit of the Combe des Vallerots and just above the famous "Saint Georges" plot, the estate's parcel is in the middle of the hillside, bordered in its upper part by the edge of the forest. The production of grapes is naturally very low here: on tasting, these are therefore concentrated wines, characteristic of their terroir by their freshness and minerality. The Vaucrains are nevertheless wines of exceptional ageing potential, which require a good ten years to reveal their full potential.

Domaine Henri Gouges

For nearly a century, generations have succeeded one another at the Henri Gouges estate, defending and enhancing the wines of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Specialising in Pinot Noir, the estate has 14 hectares of vines, exclusively in Nuits St Georges. They also produce "Pinot Gouges", a white Pinot discovered by Henri Gouges. The vines are on average 50 years old and are cultivated organically. The volume of production is linked to the climatic conditions and the method of cultivation favours quality and respect for the terroirs at the expense of quantity.

Delivery

Delivery is free in mainland France for orders over €300. In addition, we offer the choice between several transport solutions, in France and abroad. We deliver to our customers in more than 50 different countries, within optimized deadlines.

Keep your wine in our cellar

We can house your wines in our conditioned warehouse, located near Bordeaux. Our large storage capacities allow us to offer you preferential rates, as part of a hosting contract. We also offer our foreign customers the possibility of keeping their wines in suspension of duties and taxes (RFSE status) in a partner warehouse located in the Bordeaux suburbs.
