Castello Di Ama
Castello di Ama is one of the most iconic estates in Chianti Classico, located in Gaiole in Chianti on the heights of Tuscany. Founded in 1976 and managed since 1982 by Marco Pallanti, winemaker and general manager, alongside Lorenza Sebasti, CEO, the estate spans 75 hectares of vineyards planted between 420 and 527 metres elevation. Specialising in Sangiovese crus such as the Chianti Classico Gran Selezione San Lorenzo, Bellavista and La Casuccia, Castello di Ama also produces L'Apparita, Tuscany's first pure Merlot created in 1985. The estate produces approximately 320,000 bottles annually and has integrated a unique contemporary art collection since 2000.
