Château Trotanoy

Château Trotanoy is one of the most prestigious estates in the Pomerol appellation on the Right Bank of Bordeaux. Acquired in 1953 by Jean-Pierre Moueix, this 7.2-hectare estate produces wines predominantly from Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%), grown on a terroir of deep black clay and gravel over iron-rich subsoil. Today managed by Édouard Moueix, representing the third generation of the family, the château crafts wines of remarkable concentration and power, capable of ageing for several decades.
