Château L'Evangile

Château L'Evangile is one of the most iconic estates in Pomerol, located on the southeastern sector of the appellation's plateau, between Pétrus and Cheval Blanc. Owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild since 1990, the estate extends over 22 hectares planted with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Certified organic since 2021, L'Evangile produces wines of remarkable elegance and finesse, driven by an exceptional terroir of gravel, clay and iron-rich subsoil. Under the stewardship of Juliette Couderc since 2020, the estate continues its stylistic evolution towards purity and tension, combining power with refinement.
