Clos de L'Eglise

Clos de l'Église is one of the historic estates of Pomerol, with origins dating back to the 18th century. Acquired in 1997 by the Garcin-Cathiard family, the estate extends over 5.9 hectares of clay-gravel terroir rich in iron deposits, in the heart of the Pomerol plateau. Under the direction of Hélène Garcin and Patrice Lévêque, the typical blend combines 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, producing powerful and elegant wines consistently scoring above 94 points from leading international critics.
