Château Angelus

Château Angélus stands as one of the most distinguished estates on Bordeaux's Right Bank, stewarded for eight generations by the de Boüard de Laforest family. Situated on the south-facing slopes of Saint-Émilion, the 42-hectare vineyard is planted in near-equal parts with Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the latter forming the aromatic signature of the estate. Elevated to Premier Grand Cru Classé A status in 2012 before withdrawing from the classification in 2022, Angélus today embodies a pursuit of excellence led by Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal, who brings together ancestral heritage and a vision resolutely focused on precision, purity and finesse.
