Tertre Roteboeuf is one of Bordeaux's cult wines, produced by François Mitjavile since 1978 on 6 hectares in Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. A blend of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%), this wine stands out for its singular style, rooted in the pursuit of extreme ripeness and very late harvests. Never classified, by choice, Tertre Roteboeuf nonetheless rivals the greatest Premiers Grands Crus Classés of the appellation.
