Domaine Des Fosse Seche

Château de Fosse-Sèche is a historic estate in the Pays de Loire region, located in Vaudelnay within the Saumur area. Founded by Benedictine monks over 800 years ago, it spans 45 hectares with 15 hectares of biodynamically farmed vineyards. Since 2012, Guillaume and Adrien Pire have been crafting remarkably pure white and red Saumur wines from Chenin, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, grown on a unique terroir of flint and iron oxide. Certified Ecocert and Biodyvin, the estate is a model of ecological commitment, classified as an LPO bird sanctuary, where biodiversity occupies two-thirds of the property.

This rare white wine, crafted from fully botrytised grapes and aged 36 months in ovoid concrete tanks, embodies the outstanding expression of the Plateau de Brossay's distinctive terroir and Guillaume and Adrien Pire's rigorous biodynamic approach.
