Domaine Romain Jambon

The Domaine Romain Jambon covers 10 hectares in the heart of Beaujolais, in the communes of Odenas and Charentay, under the Brouilly and Beaujolais-Villages appellations. A fourth-generation winemaker, Romain Jambon has been crafting Gamay wines since 2010, rooted in the blue volcanic rocks of Mont Brouilly. The estate has been certified organic since 2022, with wines vinified in Burgundian style — destemming and temperature-controlled macerations — favouring freshness, fruit and drinkability.

Domaine Romain Jambon Cuvée Y 2022 is a red Brouilly crafted from Gamay Noir à Jus Blanc. Located at the foot of Mont Brouilly across the communes of Odenas and Charentay, this 10-hectare estate has been converting to organic farming since 2019. The wine is vinified entirely through carbonic maceration, the iconic Beaujolais technique. This cuvée expresses fresh fruit character and immediate drinkability.

Vin de macération carbonique également très fruité avec une acidité qui ajoute de la fraicheur. Comme tous les vins de Romain Jambon il peut être sensible à l'oxydation et il est préférable de na pas le conserver ouvert trop longtemps. C'est aussi un vin de plaisir instantané, à l'instar du reste de la production du Domaine.
