Domaine Isabel Ferrando

Famille Isabel Ferrando, formerly Domaine Saint-Préfert, has established itself since 2003 as one of the most remarkable estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Isabel Ferrando crafts wines of rare elegance from 24 hectares of vineyards in the southern Rhône Valley, with the historic Les Serres parcel at its heart. Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Syrah form refined blends farmed organically and certified biodynamic since 2022. In 2023, her daughter Guillemette joined the family venture.

The Domaine Isabel Ferrando 2023 is a red Châteauneuf-du-Pape crafted from an assemblage of Grenache (65%), Cinsault, Mourvèdre and Syrah, grown on the famous galets stones of the Les Serres lieu-dit. Since 2020, Isabel Ferrando and her daughter Guillemette have produced a single cuvée blending all their historic parcels, a faithful expression of their sun-drenched terroir farmed under certified biodynamic principles. The 2023 vintage, lauded by international critics (Jeb Dunnuck 97 pts, Decanter 96 pts), stands as one of the appellation's benchmark wines.
