Domaine G&J Bott

Established in 2015 in Ampuis by Graeme Bott, a New Zealand-born winemaker, and Julie, a native of the Northern Rhône Valley, Domaine G&J Bott has swiftly risen to prominence among the region's most promising estates. The couple craft Syrah and Viognier wines across Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage and Seyssuel, spanning nearly 8 hectares of granite and schist terroirs. Built from scratch, their wines display elegance and purity hailed by La Revue du Vin de France in 2019 and crowned with the Winemaker and Terroir of the Future Award.

The Condrieu Lieu-Dit L'Aleau 2021 from Domaine Graeme & Julie Bott embodies the renaissance of the Northern Rhône Valley. Sourced from a unique parcel in Vérin between Coteau de Chéry and Château Grillet, this granite-terroir Viognier is distinguished by its mineral freshness and tension, the signature of a vintage that restored natural balance to Northern Rhône whites.
