Domaine Stéphane Ogier stands as one of the leading estates in Côte-Rôtie, rooted for seven generations on the steep slopes of Ampuis. Stéphane Ogier, who joined the family estate in 1997, crafts wines of remarkable elegance and finesse from Syrah and Viognier, producing around fifteen cuvées including the celebrated Belle Hélène, Lancement and Mon Village. The estate now spans nearly 45 hectares across Côte-Rôtie, Saint-Joseph, Condrieu and Seyssuel appellations.

La Rosine 2022 from Domaine Stéphane Ogier is a pure Syrah from the IGP Collines Rhodaniennes, on the doorstep of Côte-Rôtie. Grown on the granite hillsides of Tupin-Semons south of Ampuis, this cuvée expresses with precision the minerality of the northern Rhône terroir. Aged 12 months in oak barrels with no new wood, it embodies the elegant, refined approach of a Burgundy-trained winemaker, offering an accessible introduction to fine northern Rhône Syrah at a measured price.
