Château La Conseillante

Château La Conseillante stands as one of the finest estates in the Pomerol appellation on the Right Bank of Bordeaux. Owned by the Nicolas family since 1871, this 12-hectare property neighbours some of the region's most illustrious names — Pétrus, Vieux Château Certan, and Cheval Blanc. The vineyard is planted with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc on a mosaic of clay and gravel soils enriched with iron deposits. Since 2015, Marielle Cazaux has been managing director, working alongside co-managers Bertrand and Jean-Valmy Nicolas and consultant Michel Rolland. The wines are renowned for their elegance, finesse, and distinctive violet and truffle aromatics.
