Founded in 2002 by Jacky Blot, a Montlouis pioneer, this 14-hectare estate dedicated to Cabernet Franc on limestone slopes ranks among the appellation's finest. Certified organic viticulture, parcel-based vinification and precise élevage yield wines of finesse and purity, now crafted by Jean-Philippe Blot.

Bourgueil Mi-Pente 2020 from Domaine de la Butte represents the finest expression of cabernet franc from the Loire Valley. Sourced from a 5-hectare parcel planted with vines over 60 years old on the limestone slopes of Bourgueil, this wine combines power, concentration and mineral elegance. Vinified using certified organic viticulture and aged 16 to 18 months in barrels, it expresses with precision the tuffeau terroir of the mid-slope, a true grand cru of the appellation.
