Domaine Pilon Julien

Julien Pilon is a producer-négociant based in Chavanay, in the heart of the northern Rhône Valley. Established in 2010 without land or cellars, the estate has emerged as a rising star through a range of refined dry whites and appealing reds — Condrieu, Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Côte-Rôtie, Cornas — crafted with precision and finesse. Awarded one star in the Revue du Vin de France Guide Vert in 2022, Julien Pilon embodies a generation of winemakers bringing freshness and modernity to Rhône crus.

Condrieu Vernon 2022 from Domaine Julien Pilon represents one of the finest expressions of Viognier in the Northern Rhône Valley. Sourced from the Vernon lieu-dit, one of the great terroirs of the Condrieu appellation, this concentrated dry white reveals the signature of a winemaker devoted to freshness and precision. Aged 18 months in barrels with 30% new oak, it combines richness and mineral tension in a remarkably controlled sunny vintage.
