Clos de la Bonnette

Nestled in the heart of the Condrieu appellation, Clos de la Bonnette is a 5-hectare family estate farmed organically by Isabelle Guiller, Henri and Antoine Montabonnet. Set on vertiginous hillsides with granitic soils, the vineyard produces remarkably refined Viognier and Syrah wines, the result of entirely manual work and a biodynamic approach that respects this exceptional terroir in the Rhône Valley.

Clos de la Bonnette Prenelle Côte-Rôtie 2021 is a 100% Syrah from the Tupin hillside, in the southern part of the appellation. This small family estate farmed organically cultivates its vines on sandy soils over mica schists, with two years of ageing in oak barrels (no new wood). Representative of the 2021 vintage, this wine combines elegance, freshness and silky tannins.
