Château Roc de Cambes

Château Roc de Cambes, acquired in 1988 by François Mitjavile — owner of the legendary Tertre Roteboeuf — stands today as the benchmark estate of the Côtes de Bourg appellation. Situated on the prized first slope 'Les Croûtes' in a natural amphitheatre overlooking the Gironde, this 12-hectare domaine planted to Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon reveals a clay-limestone terroir remarkably similar to that of Saint-Émilion. Led by Nina Mitjavile, Roc de Cambes embodies a singular philosophy rooted in fully ripe fruit and patient élevage, crafting wines of depth and emotion that rival Bordeaux's greatest crus.

Château Roc de Cambes 2022 embodies the excellence of the Côtes de Bourg appellation. Owned by François Mitjavile, the winemaker also behind Tertre Roteboeuf, this blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon originates from a clay-limestone terroir set in a natural amphitheatre on the right bank of the Gironde. The 2022 vintage, recognised as one of the finest of the 21st century in Bordeaux, delivers remarkable concentration, perfect balance and impressive ageing potential.
