Domaine Jaboulet Aine

Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aîné, founded in 1834 in Tain-l'Hermitage, stands as one of the most iconic estates in the Northern Rhône Valley. Owned by the Frey family since 2006, the domaine cultivates 125 hectares across the finest terroirs of the Northern Rhône — including 25 hectares on the Hermitage hill, making it the second-largest vineyard holding in this legendary appellation. The iconic Hermitage La Chapelle 1961, ranked among the ten greatest wines of the 20th century, embodies the prestige of an estate certified organic since 2016 and committed to biodynamic viticulture.

Hermitage La Chapelle 2012 from Paul Jaboulet Aîné embodies the excellence of Hermitage in the Northern Rhône Valley. Crafted from Syrah sourced from prestigious parcels on the Hermitage hill, this 2012 vintage marks a turning point for the house: it is the first year where winemaker Caroline Frey feels her organic farming drive truly paid off. An iconic age-worthy wine with remarkable purity and texture, it reveals the class of the lieu-dit Le Méal.
