Château Ducru Beaucaillou

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, classified as a Second Growth in 1855, stands as one of the definitive benchmarks of the Saint-Julien appellation in the Médoc. Established since 1720 on 105 hectares of deep gravel soils studded with beautiful Günzian pebbles that gave the estate its name, this emblematic cru has been managed since 2003 by Bruno-Eugène Borie, third generation of a family that has owned the property since 1941. The vineyard planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (70%) and Merlot (30%) produces wines of silky elegance, archetypes of the Saint-Julien style, recognised as one of the greatest Super Seconds of Bordeaux.
