Vignetti Zabu

Vignetti Zabu is a Sicilian winery located in Sambuca di Sicilia, in the Belice Valley, established in 2005 by the Fantini Group (formerly Farnese Vini). Set on the hills overlooking Lake Arancio, the vineyards extend at altitudes of 400-500 metres on clay-limestone soils. The estate crafts authentic Sicilian wines from native grapes such as Nero d'Avola, Grillo and Nerello Mascalese, alongside international varieties including Syrah and Chardonnay. Under the technical supervision of Filippo Baccalaro and international consultant Alberto Antonini, Vignetti Zabu combines thousand-year Sicilian tradition with modern winemaking to produce wines offering exceptional quality-to-price ratio.

Impari from Vigneti Zabù is the flagship wine of this Sicilian estate located in Sambuca di Sicilia. A blend of 60% Nero d'Avola, complemented by 20% Merlot and 20% Syrah, this characterful red expresses the full solar power of Sicily. The 2011 vintage, marked by favourable climatic conditions for Sicilian native grapes, benefited from extended ageing of 18 months in French and American oak barrels, followed by 18 months of bottle maturation.
