Domaine Huet

Founded in 1928 in Vouvray, Domaine Huet is the world benchmark for age-worthy Chenin Blanc. Owned by the Hwang family since 2003, this pioneering biodynamic estate (Demeter certified since 1993) cultivates 30 hectares across three exceptional crus: Le Haut-Lieu, Le Mont, and Clos du Bourg. Under winemaker Benjamin Joliveau, the domaine crafts wines of unparalleled purity, tension, and minerality, producing Sec, Demi-Sec, Moelleux, and Pétillant styles according to each vintage.

Domaine Huet Le Mont Moelleux 1ère Trie 2002 is a sweet Vouvray from one of the estate's three grand cru sites. Crafted from Chenin Blanc harvested in successive passes and affected by noble rot, the 2002 vintage balances concentration with freshness in an elegant, precise style rather than opulent richness.
