Condrieu, an appellation that stands out in the Rhône corridor because it produces exclusively whites, but what whites!

Located on the right bank of the Rhône, between the production areas of Côte-Rôtie to the north and Saint-Joseph to the south, it extends over an area of approximately 130 hectares on an alluvial plateau with an average altitude of 200 meters, which overlooks the Rhône. It is spread over the municipalities of Condrieu, Vérin, Saint-Michel-sur-Rhône, Chavanay, Malleval, Limony and Saint-Pierre-de-Bœuf.

The soils of the Condrieu appellation are made up of glacial moraines and clayey sands. They are rich in minerals and trace elements, which give the wines their unique character.

The climate of the Condrieu appellation is Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers and mild winters. The vines are south facing, which allows the grapes to reach perfect maturity.

The wines of the Condrieu appellation are exclusively white. They are produced from the Viognier grape variety, which finds its preferred terroir here.

The wines are characterized by their pale-yellow color, their complex bouquet and their beautiful acidity. They offer a rich and complex aromatic palette, with notes of flowers (violet, acacia), fruits (apricot, peach, almond) and honey.

Condrieu wines are exceptional wines, which can age for several decades. They are appreciated worldwide for their complexity, finesse and elegance.
