Domaine Saouma

Domaine Saouma, founded in 2009 by Mounir and Rotem Saouma in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, now encompasses 12 hectares in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation and 12 hectares in Côtes du Rhône Villages. Owners of the prestigious Burgundian négociant Lucien Le Moine since 1999, the couple applies a minimalist Burgundy-inspired approach in the Southern Rhône, focusing on Grenache and white varietals with extended ageing of up to 60 months. The estate stands out for its unusual 40% white wine production, acclaimed for finesse, purity and mineral depth.

Clos Saouma OMNIA 2011 is a red Châteauneuf-du-Pape crafted with Burgundian precision by Mounir Saouma applied to Rhône terroir. An assemblage of Grenache (majority), Mourvèdre and Syrah from 9 parcels across all 5 communes of the appellation, this wine reflects the mosaic of Châteauneuf terroirs with Burgundy-like elegance and tension.
